How Do I Claim VAT Relief?
Most of our customers are exempt from VAT by virtue of their disability. However, certain products are not eligible for VAT relief, so a description of the VAT status is given along with the price of all items within the shop.
ALL Prices shown on our website are the VAT Relief Price, except some items, which are not eligible.
Guest Checkout is offered on this website to those who do not wish to register before placing an order.
You are exempt from paying VAT if you are:
An Individual : If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. You do not need a Doctors letter or other such documentation. A Charity : Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Buying for someone else : If you are buying this product for or on behalf of someone who is chronically sick or disabled and the product(s) is for their personal use. |
How do I prove my eligibility to claim?
Medical documentation is not required (either from yourself, or a person claiming on your behalf) to declare that you’re disabled or chronically sick. If you are unsure you may wish to consult your doctor or other medical adviser.
