Customer Support

All Verbalise brand watches and clocks come with a 2 year warranty, plus 90 day cover on watch batteries.

Other manufacturers, depending on the brand, normally carry a one year guarantee.

All warranties cover repair or replacement, if the product proves to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use.

However, please refer to the individual item for details.

Warranties do not cover, accidental damage, misuse, wear and tear, straps, case, crystal, battery cells or water damage.

When returning an item for service or repair please call us to obtain a returns authorisation number (RMA No.)

Please note - if you are having problems with the settings on any product you've purchased from us, or have mislaid the instruction manual, please call us on 0345 00 40 100 or via our contact page if you prefer (link below.)

Contact Us

Battery life varies, but on average cell batteries shouldn’t need to be changed for at least 12 months.

Battery replacement in wrist watches should be carried out by a professional and we strongly recommend that you return your watch to us, as replacement by a third party may invalidate your warranty.

Bracelet Adjustment

When purchasing a watch that has a metal bracelet with links, we are happy to adjust the watch bracelet to fit your wrist before sending it to you.

Extra links for larger sizes can also be sourced.

Most Verbalise brand watches will be resized for free, but other brands may incur a charge.

Measure the circumference of your wrist in centimetres by using a tape measure (or a piece of string measured with a ruler).

To specify the size you require, enter your measurement in the notes section in the checkout area.

Water Resistance

Water resistance is measured in water pressure and represented in units of 10 metres (m) or by Atmospheres (ATM)

3 ATM = Splash proof and rain resistant, but do not submerge in water. Remove when swimming, bathing or washing up.

5 ATM = Showering and surface swimming, but not diving.

Care Advice

To maintain the appearance and durability of your new timepiece we recommend that you:

  • Clean or polish your watch using only a soft dry cloth.
  • Store your watch in the original packaging or use a soft pouch.
  • Avoid contact with salt water, perfumes, body sprays, hairspray and chemicals, as all of these products have a corrosive effect.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures and loosen leather or silicone straps in warm weather to prevent a build up of perspiration.
  • Avoid wearing your watch on the same wrist as another piece of jewellery.
  • Don’t subject your watch to undue shocks (such as dropping on a hard surface) as accuracy will be affected.
